I love Spring (minus the crazy winds here in the South West and the allergies.) Flowers are in bloom, birds are singing, and we can really bust out our picnic gear.
Our fireplace mantle is very much the focal point of our main living space. I wanted to be able to feel like it was Spring time inside our home too.
I made this wreath using a twig wreath form from Micheal's and attached a green floral garland with floral wire. I made the little bird's nest from raffia I found at Dollar Tree and I hot glued some fake eggs I had left over from last year's decor.
Here are some more of those eggs simply placed on top of green reindeer moss in an apothecary jar. I always have this apothecary jar on my mantle and change out what's inside depending on the season.
Remember my post about my copper kitchen accessories? I couldn't let this Moscow Mule mug just sit in the cabinet, so I added some fake flowers that coordinate with the wreath.
I enjoy sitting in my kitchen or in my living room and seeing these fresh pops of Spring. What are you using for your Spring decor?
