Amazon Prime Day Deals for Party Hostesses

 toHooray!  It's time for this year's Amazon Prime Day! It's time to stock up on all the party supplies and entertaining essentials that help you host your guests in style.

Don't know what Amazon Prime day is?  It's basically Black Friday on Amazon.  For 48 hours only, starting at 12 AM PST July 15th and going until 16th 2019, Amazon is going to be offering the best prices of the year on thousands of their products.

Do you remember the Navy Blue and Rose Gold Wedding I shared last year?  I was able to get a bunch of the items through Amazon Prime that made that setup like the sequin tablecloths, rolls of tulle, and some of the ribbon for a fraction of the cost  everywhere else I looked. Plus, I was able to get them almost last minute because of the awesome 2-day shipping. 

I have to admit, I'm a bit of a party supplies hoarder.  I like to have on hand basic entertaining essentials like serving trays and platters, bar ware, tabletop decor, disposable plates, napkins, and utensils.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that some of the gorgeous chaffing dishes are included in Prime Day this year.   

I also like to DIY a lot of my party decorations so I also stock up on crafting supplies.  That way I can use my more expensive basic party supplies, and add those little touches that make a party look super custom.   I have really come to rely on my Cricut machines for so many of those projects including party banners, cake toppers, and even my sugar cookie stencils.  According to the Amazon Prime Day press release, we know that Cricut machines and accessories are going to be included!

I'm not frugal by any means, but I am a pretty savvy shopper.  I know a good deal when I see one, and I have a good understanding of what I'll need for the parties and holiday events I have coming up.  So stocking up on what I know I need or what I might need means I'm almost always ready to throw a cute party or entertain guests with little to no notice. 

So here's what you need to know for Amazon Prime day.  First off, you need to be a prime member.  If you do not have a membership already, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial.  You can shop the Prime day deals, and enjoy the other benefits like free 2 day shipping, instantly watch thousands of movies and TV episodes and borrow Kindle books.  You can cancel anytime during those 30 days or keep it for $12.99 per month. Second, be aware these deals won't last. New deals will appear throughout the sale.

Since there are literally thousands of deals going on, I'm going to break down some of what I think you'll be interested in by category below and list them in order of the time they go on sale.  But, you can always add items to your cart or wish list now, and watch them to see if and when they are going on sale.
