I love a good side salad, and this one does not disappoint. Broccoli and tomato salad with red onion and red wine vinaigrette has been a family favorite ever since I can remember.
How to Make Broccoli and Tomato Salad with Red Onion
This side salad couldn't get any easier. All you need is a head of broccoli, tomatoes, and red onion.
Cut up the broccoli into bite sized pieces. For the tomatoes, I like to use a combination of cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes, and vine ripened tomatoes. As for the red onion, to keep that flavor from being too overwhelming, slice it very thin.
Place the broccoli, tomatoes, and red onion into your serving bowl and drench in red wine vinaigrette. Give the salad about 15 minutes to let the vinaigrette get soaked up by broccoli.
