Welcome to Space week for the at-home summer camp! Bri from Parties With A Cause and I have some fun space themed activities and snacks for the kids to enjoy.
My little guys have been having fun pretending to be space explorers in these easy diy costume space helmets made with a Cricut machine.
Space Helmet Materials List

- glue stick
You can find this space helmet image by searching for image #M361C2.
I used a silver metallic poster board to cut out the helmet for my little guys. I think that you end up getting a cleaner looking cut if you place the poster board with the metallic side down onto your Cricut mat. Then all you have to do is glue the embellishments to the main part of the helmet. Insert the arrows on the helmet into the slots and it's ready to wear.
As a space themed activity, Bri shared this fun Galaxy Slime over on Parties With A Cause.
Although we will be sharing fun projects, activities, and recipes for kids on our blogs, we've also started a Facebook Group for parents to share ways they are keeping kids happy this summer. I hope you will join us!
