I love to serve delicious game day food when we're homegating. For this baseball themed party, I decided to set up a game day food bar featuring French fries from McCain® Food. Not only are these fries delicious, they are also budget friendly since, until 5/31/19, you can get $1.50 off when you purchase 2 participating McCain® products at Walmart. You can submit your rebate & learn more details here.

Don't you love game day? I think it's so much fun to get together with friends and family to cheer on your team. Plus, I just like setting up parties.
Especially for events like homegating, setting up a buffet is the way to go. I'm all about easy entertaining after all! This French fry game day food bar is as easy as it gets while still being really festive. First of all, you're going to need to pick up some tasty McCain® products. You can find McCain® products in the freezer section in your local Walmart.

I purchased McCain® Smiles® Mashed Potato Shapes, McCain® Seasoned Curly Fries Seasoned Potato Fries, McCain® Extra Crispy Crinkle Fries and McCain® Seasoned Waffle Fries for my game day food bar.
Garlic Ginger Fries Recipe
The McCain® Seasoned Curly Fries Seasoned Potato Fries are already delicious, but I wanted to give them a little twist. Part of the seasoning includes garlic salt. So to make this garlic ginger fries recipe all I did was add a small amount of ground ginger and a drizzle of sesame oil to the frozen fries before sticking them in the oven.
Boom. Garlic ginger fries. These should definitely be included in your game day food bar.
Cucumber Wasabi Ranch Dipping Sauce
Then I whipped up my new favorite french fry dipping sauce. Y'all - I can't get over how yummy this cucumber wasabi ranch dipping sauce turned out! It's amazing!!!! I'll be using this on my fries, summer salads, burgers, and all sorts of other foods.
This is a combination of ranch dip mix, mayonnaise, sour cream, cucumber, and wasabi paste.
Just place all of those ingredients into a food processor and blend them up. It's very easy and only takes a few seconds to mix up.
I highly suggest that you peel the cucumber before placing it into the food processor. That way you can easily use your cucumber wasabi ranch dipping sauce in a standard squeeze bottle on your game day snack bar.
Set Up A Game Day Food Bar
As I mentioned, I also bought other McCain's Foods fries and mashed potato shapes for our game day food bar. I had a whole buffet set up for our game day party so everyone could pick out what they liked.
We had the garlic ginger fries made with McCain® Seasoned Curly Fries Seasoned Potato Fries, McCain® Smiles® Mashed Potato Shapes, McCain® Extra Crispy Crinkle Fries and McCain® Seasoned Waffle Fries.
We usually have our parties kid friendly. I like to make sure to have food that is appealing for the kiddos besides just the desserts. My little boys absolutely loved these McCain® Smiles® Mashed Potato Shapes. Aren't they the cutest?
So fun. Speaking of fun, check out some of these other game day party ideas.
