So, I have been seeing the image of a beautiful hurricane from Williams Sonoma on pinterest and have fallen in love.

I was super excited when I saw a how to make a Dollar Tree version of the Williams Sonoma Fall hurricane.  I went ahead and made one, just like in the tutorial found here.  It turned out nice for what it is, and I will definitely be using some in my Holiday decorating.  But I wanted something that was a little bit closer to the original Williams Sonoma hurricane without the hefty price tag.

I went to Ross to see what I could find.  There, I found 2 possible options that would work along with some other Dollar Tree supplies.

The small hurricane cost me $4.99 and the large glass vase cost $5.99 at Ross.  I purchased the candles, candle stick holder, the smaller glass vases, and fall leaves at Dollar Tree to get the look of the William Sonoma hurricane.

I glued the candle stick holder to the bottom of the large vase with super glue, and let it dry over night.  The rest of the assembly was the same for the 2 hurricanes.  I placed a candle in each small vase and inserted one into each of my 2 hurricanes. Then I placed the leaves around the inner vases.

I'm super happy with the way these hurricanes turned out.  I get the look of the Williams Sonoma hurricane for a fraction of the price.
