At Home Summer Camp Series

So glad you are here as part of the series Bri from Parties With A Cause and I are sharing with you!  Now that the kids are out of school for the summer, (was distant learning an adventure for you?) it's time to start finding fun ways to keep them entertained and off the screen!

Our first week of at home summer camp is all about dinosaurs!

Easy Wooden Dollar Tree Dinosaur Craft

Dollar Tree's craft section has gotten pretty impressive over the last year.   I found this adorable wooden dinosaur, some brushes and they also have a lot of paint to pick from.

My little guy couldn't wait to get started when I showed him the supplies for this simple craft.

His absolute favorite color is green.  We ended up using a paper plate as his palette and added a big globe of both blue and yellow paint to he could mix up several different shades of green.

After the wooden dinosaur was covered in enough green paint, the little guy added a black dot of paint for the eye and a few splotches on the dinosaur's body.

I think it turned out super cute!  He already has it up in his room on display.

Quick and Easy Dinosaur Crafts

Keep the kids busy with even more fun dinosaur crafts this week!

With all of the dinosaur crafting going on, the kids are going to get hungry!  Check out Bri's adorable Dinosaur Pasta Salad over on Parties With A Cause.

Although we will be sharing fun projects, activities, and recipes for kids on our blogs, we've also started a Facebook Group for parents to share ways they are keeping kids happy this summer.  I hope you will join us!
