These Father's day printable gift tags and gift bag are an easy way to show dad how special he is!

I have to admit that I have a gift wrapping obsession.  You should see my gift closet.  It's stuffed full of wrapping paper, gift bags, tags, and tissue paper, along with generic "emergency gifts." But for this Father's day, I want some gift packaging that will appeal to my husband's rugged and manly side!

My hubby is a country singer.  Maybe you've heard his song "Crazy" by the Abe Mac Band on the radio recently.  If not, he's got that classic country sound.  He is living proof that the true West is a state of mind.  On any given day you can find him wearing jeans, cowboy boots, and a cowboy hat. (John B. Stetson ALSO fashioned the iconic cowboy hat that became the symbol of American independence, individuality, integrity and strength.) He knows how to rope and ride horses.  He works hard, and does a great job of taking care of our family.  My hubby is a lot like my dad in those ways.  So, this Father's day, I've got two wonderful father's to celebrate - my dad and my hubby.  They are both going to love the wood grain, plaid, and neutral colors in these printable gift tags and matching printable gift wrap that I will show how to turn into a gift bag.

Stetson Original Cologne makes a great Father's Day Gift

Of course you'll need a gift to go inside your printable gift bag or use the printable gift tags! Stetson Original cologne is a great gift for me to give to both my husband and to my dad this Father's day.  They both embody what Stetson cologne is all about - integrity and strength.

Right now you can get a $5 offer from Stetson this Father’s Day by texting “STETSON” to 79495!  Hover over he picture below to get started on your Father's day shopping.

My husband and my dad love to do things with my little boys like riding horses, going to the rodeo, and other really fun family activities.  I'm thankful that my little boys have a father and grandfather that they can look up to.

Here's one of my favorite pictures of my cowboy crew.  I need to have them redo this picture now that we have one more little guy though!

Anyway, as you can see, Stetson Original cologne will make a great gift for the dads I'm celebrating this Father's day!  Plus I just like the scent.  It has citrus notes mellowed with lavender that are blended with rich, rugged woods and spices - perfect for my gift wrap.  Here's a closeup of the gift tags I've included in this printable gift wrapping set.

How to Make a DIY Gift Bag Step by Step

Along with the printable gift tags, I've included a printable gift wrap that you can use to make a diy gift bag.  To make this gift bag, simply download and print out this file using 8 1/2 x 11 paper.  You also need some scissors, a hole punch, tape and some jute (or ribbon) for the handles.  To make the gift bag:

  1. Cut the white edge off of one side of the printed Father's day gift wrap
  2. Fold the top of the paper over with 1 or 2 cm of the design and use a piece of clear tape to hold in place.
  3. Fold the side of the paper that still has the white edge over so that the printed design lines up with the center of the front of the bag.
  4. Bring the other edge of the paper (that you cut the white edge off of) to line up with the design on the other side of the paper. Tape in place with clear tape.
  5. Fold the bottom of the bag up toward the top including 1 or 2 cm of the design.
  6. Open the fold up so that you have 2 triangles on each end with a square in the middle of the bag.
  7. Fold the top flap of the bottom of the bag where the fold is along the edge of the design.
  8. Fold the other flap to overlap with first flap and secure with tape.
  9. Use a hole punch to add 2 holes to both the front and back of the bag.
  10. Thread some jute threw a gift tag before sticking an end threw each hole on the front of the bag. Tie the end together and repeat on the back of the bag minus adding the gift tag

This gift bag ends up being the perfect size to gift Stetson to the dad you are celebrating this Father's day.

Place your box of Stetson Original cologne in some tissue paper before placing it into your  printable gift bag.
