I love the idea of Friendsgiving. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays and I'm so excited that nowadays we can celebrate it more than once with an additional Friendsgiving celebration.
Although spending time with the family is great during the holidays, spending time with your friends is important too. I don't know about you, but I have some amazing friends that I am so thankful to have in my life. I hope they know it.
One of the great things about Friendsgiving is that it's usually a little more casual. And even though I love traditional Fall colors, for this party I wanted something unexpected. I decided to go with an aqua, brown, and blush color scheme and for my table setting I wanted everything to be beautiful but disposable. I'm all about that easy cleanup!
Over at the Oriental Trading website I picked out plastic cups, utensils, plates, paper chargers, and super cute "give thanks" utensil holders.
I cut my placemats out of a roll of packing paper - easy peasy. And these are real mini pumpkins and I think they are just adorable.
My dad made this yule log when I was a kid, and I love to use it every chance that I get.
For our mini bar setup, I used paper fans also from Oriental Trading Company in aqua, brown, and blush to create a backdrop.
Here's a quick video of my Friendsgiving table setting:
