Are you ready for some football party ideas?  It's that time of year when family and friends gather around the screen while eating, drinking, and talking football!  These game day football party tips will help you plan your party with ease.

Even when I don't really know exactly what's happening in the game, I love when my friends start cheering after a great play.  When it's a really good play, they'll give a round of high-fives or even jump in the air for a chest bump.  It's fun. But even when the team loses, a good football party is still something to enjoy.

I may not know everything about football, but I do know how to throw a party.  After all, "easy entertaining" is literally part of the name of this blog, below are a few of my favorite fall football home entertaining tips.

Keep Your Football Party Decorations Consistent

Nothing pulls the look of a party together like consistency.  For this football party, I stayed within a color scheme of lots of green, brown, white and black.  I used the same plastic tablecloth for my tabletop as well as the two posters that are up on my walls.  I also used lots of brown football cutouts and serving trays and buckets to stick with the football decorations theme.  Everything is very cohesive and consistent in the party space.

Have Multiple Serving Areas

I know the super fans don't like to get up for football party snacks during the game, so I made sure to have some within reach.

Just place your cold Coca-Cola® Mini cans and Sprite® in buckets of ice and place them in convenient spots.  I covered my coffee table with a plastic tablecloth to keep condensation away from my wood, and this setup worked like magic.

I also included a bucket of soda on ice next to my mango sherbet and Sprite® punch as well as over by the hot dog bar.

Football Party Snacks

While I enjoy preparing some of my favorite recipes like buffalo chicken triangles and salsa verde, I also like to keep and serve easy football party snacks that require little or no prep.  Some good choices are pretzels, popcorn, pork rinds, tortilla chips, potato chips and store-bought dips.

Of course, hot dogs are always good on your football party menu.  There are so many delicious toppings to add that make this traditional favorite a hit.

Make Shopping For Your Football Drinks Convenient and Easy

Have you ever been to a party where they weren't serving drinks?  Probably not. You definitely need to include some delicious football drinks on your shopping list.  Sam's Club makes shopping for Coca-Cola® products quick and easy with two great options.  First is their Scan & Go App. Scan items as you shop, pay from your phone (via the app) and skip the checkout line.  So convenient if you're in a hurry! The second option is Club Pickup. Order online and Sam’s Club will have everything ready for you. This is a great option when purchasing heavier items, like Coca-Cola® beverages.

Other Football Party Tips to Keep In Mind

A few other tips to keep in mind for your football party include making sure not to block your t.v. with decorations.  Your guests are there to watch the game after all. Also, make sure to chill your Coca-Cola® beverages and other drinks well ahead of time so that they are ice cold.
