Welcome to day 4 of the 13 days of Halloween party ideas! Today its all about savory Halloween recipes! I'm sharing with you this easy baked brie recipe that is topped with raspberry preserves.
Your guests will squeal with glee (not fright) when you cut into this ooey gooey melted brie. Okay, so the raspberry preserves makes this a sweet and savory recipe. But that means it is one of those perfect Halloween party appetizers for adults that kids will love too.
How to Make Baked Brie With Raspberry Preserves
You know how I am all about easy recipes, right? Well, Halloween is no different. And this savory Halloween recipe really couldn't be any easier. Pretty much all you do is unwrap your wheel of brie, put it on a lined baking sheet, top with raspberry preserves and pop it in the oven.
That's right, you don't have to wrap it. You can totally make baked brie without pastry or phyllo dough, although I will also be sharing a recipe with you on that soon. Once the brie is done baking, use a spatula to carefully transfer it to your serving dish and add some crackers. To make it a little spooky, scatter some fake spiders on the table around your dish.
There are so many baked brie toppings, but I'm pretty obsessed with using raspberry preserves or raspberry jam.
So what makes this a savory Halloween recipe? Well.... it is gooey with all that delicious melted brie spilling everywhere... and the raspberry preserves can kinda look Halloweenish. Besides, I don't care if it is Halloween, I want my guests to really want to dig in and not be too grossed out by the ghoul factor.
