I recently got the chance to review a few of the products offered on BuyGreen.com.  BuyGreen.com has a ton of green and eco-friendly products available at a reasonable cost,  If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know that I am always trying to be just a little "greener."  Fortunately, the demand for green and eco-friendly products has grown in recent years, making it easier for those of us interested in these types of things.

BuyGreen.com sent me a goodie box with bamboo disposable plates and cutlery along with some Seventh Generation laundry detergent packs and lavender hand wash. Opening the box was like it was my birthday!

I love the convenience of paper plates, but I frequently feel guilty about being so wasteful.   Don't get me wrong, I still use paper plates, especially for parties.  I like to use paper plates and disposable utensils that coordinate with a party theme, and who could pass up the opportunity to not have to do dishes at the end of the night?  But then, there's that guilty feeling again.

The eco-friendly bamboo disposable plates and cutlery are pretty much my new favorite thing.  I get to keep the convenience of paper plates without the guilt.  And they're pretty!!!  Even my hubby (who hardly ever notices or cares about these things) really liked the plates and cutlery.  They are perfect for everyday use, but would also fit in at the most elegant cocktail party.

As for the Seventh Generation products, I'm not surprised with how content I am.  I fell in love with Seventh Generation when my little boy was a baby.  I love their baby products and had tried their dish soap before as well.  The Natural Hand Wash smells wonderful and left my sensitive skin surprisingly soft.

The Seventh Generation laundry detergent packs also did not disappoint.  I have a small obsession with laundry detergent.  Maybe more than a small obsession.  The laundry detergent packs got our clothes clean and smelling fresh (as opposed to just perfumed.)  Plus, I like that it is hypoallergenic.  Baby no. 2 is due in just a few weeks, so I need to start washing all of his cute new outfits from my baby showers.  I wonder if the detergent will work on cloth diapers....  I guess I'll let you know 🙂
