Can you believe Halloween is 10 days away?  The little guy and I have talking about our Halloween plans since March, and we're so excited it's almost here.  He has about 4 different costumes he has been dreaming up,  Our house is covered in orange and black and lots of creepy (but not too scary) things.

We're also excited about this Halloween candy drizzled popcorn.

Halloween Candy Drizzled popcorn - so easy and sure to please

I don't think that I made enough because it was gone so quickly.  Fortunately, it only takes a few minutes to whip up another batch.

This popcorn is sooooooooo easy to make.  Start by popping a bag of popcorn - I used Kettle corn.  Then spread your popcorn out in a single layer in a piece of parchment paper.


Up next, put some candy melts in the microwave, and melt them according to the package directions.  I chose to use orange and black, but I think that green and purple would be fun additions as well.


After the all of your colors are melted, drizzle the melted candy over the popcorn with a spoon.  Immediately after the melted candy is drizzled, generously shake some Halloween sprinkles onto the popcorn.


If you're really impatient like I am, then you can stick the popcorn in the refrigerator for the candy to harden up quickly.  Once the candy is dry, toss the popcorn around to break up the clusters.


My little boy and I love this popcorn.  It's salty and sweet and perfect for Halloween.


We're definitely ready for Halloween.  I just have a few finishing touches to put on our Halloween decorations and I'll be able to take you on a Halloween home tour this weekend 🙂
