Welcome back to the 13 days of Halloween! Bri from Parties With A Cause and I have been bringing you fun ways to celebrate Halloween 2020 at home. Today we are both sharing some really festive setups.
My Halloween plan this year includes dinner, games and movie night. Since we are planning on staying home I want to be able to keep the fun rolling without having to stop to wash dishes. Fortunately there are a ton of super cute Halloween paper plates, cups, and napkins in stores right now. I picked up my plates from the 99 cent store.
I have 3 different looks for your Halloween tablescape this year but they all have the same base layers. I stretched some glow in the dark spider webs over the surface of the table, and I use orange metallic placemats that I think look kind of like spider webs too.
Just switching a few elements can really change the look of your basic setup. First up - setting the table with some adorable black pumpkin plates. Pumpkins are fun and friendly for all ages. My little boys prefer cute Halloween decor instead of the scary, creepy stuff. Even the spiders and spider webs are pretty cute and make this Halloween tablescape fun and inviting.
Up next - our cute Frankenstein table!
Aren't they just so adorable? The plates are the only difference between this and my first setup. I like the nice pop of green that goes with the green spiderwebs. And Frankie himself is clearly a smiley guy, just right for young children.
Here, I switched out the napkins and the plates to go for a Halloween owl theme.
I'm a Chi Omega Alum, so I'm always drawn to owls. I LOVE the preppy plaid sweaters the owls are wearing on these whimsical plates. This is a nice change from round or square plates, and can even serve as good story starters on Halloween night. My five year old decided this owl should be named Ollie! He loved this setting.
I'm pretty sure the Frankenstein monster table setting is my favorite, but what about you? Leave a comment below.
Over on Parties With A Cause, Bri created this adorable "Baby is Brewing" Baby shower.
