Recently, not only have I been eating wonderful breakfasts (like this melon with honey) but so has my 3 year old. He loves pancakes and sugary cereals, but since I have been sitting down to eat healthier breakfasts, so has he. I believe this change has come along because of my pregnancy. I'm now 21 weeks along 🙂 My little guy is very active and all those little kicks and twists are a constant reminder to eat healthy.
So, cantaloupe and honeydew melon drizzled with honey and served with a glass of almond milk is just one of our new favorite breakfast options. It also makes a nice afternoon snack. I love this combination! Of course the honey isn't necessary since the melon is already sweet, but I just love the flavor. Plus, I hear local honey is good if you suffer from allergies.
Anyway, here's to a healthy start to your day too!
Melon with Honey
1 cantaloupe
1 honeydew melon
honey
1. Cut up both melons into bite sized cubes.
2. Place in bowls and drizzle with desired amount of honey

Hi, I’m Jordan – a work at home mom with 3 super fun little boys. I love entertaining guests and want to help you make entertaining easy!
Your breakfast looks delicious. I've never thought about drizzling honey over melons, but do know that local honey is great for allergies. Great idea.
Best wishes with your little one. Thank you for linking up at Let's get Real!
Good for you…eating healthy. Breakfast is my hardest meal and I've started going for fruits cuz I can just grab them and eat while I work. This would fit perfectly! I'll have to try it!
Thanks for sharing!
Good for you for eating healthy both for you new little one and as an example to the rest of your family. Thanks for sharing your story at #theweekendsocial. Love to see you back Thursday 9:00 PM EST. theKitchenChopper Pinned
