Have you tried this new Notable Wines Chardonnay?  It's like a symphony on your taste buds.

I've referenced music quite a bit lately.  But, it's because music is a huge part of my life.  My mother has recorded with some legendary musicians and my husband is a country singer on the Texas Country radio music charts.   Maybe you've heard of him?  And if you've listened to his latest album, the female vocalist is actually me. Just sayin'.

As you can imagine, we listen to a lot of country music around here, but I love all types of music.  In fact, one of my favorite leisure activities is going to either the symphony or the opera with my parents.   These are  special occasions  that I really look forward to.  Even though I have two other siblings, and I'm grown with children of my own, I get my parents all to myself for an evening of doing something that we all very much enjoy.

We get dressed up and indulge in a evening full of timeless music and atmosphere.  The tradition also includes continuing the evening after the performance with wine and hors d'oeuvres so we can talk about our favorite moments.   It only makes sense that we should select  a wine so harmonious  with our appreciation of music.

We were happy to discover this oaky and buttery  Chardonnay from Notable Wines. Talk about palate pleasing! With notes of butter, oak, and vanilla, it is delicious on its own, but it pairs  perfectly with little bites like the  brie, peach and prosciutto crostini I like to serve.

Notable is the first wine that highlights the flavor profiles right on the front of the bottle.  This is great if you enjoy wine, but are not a connoisseur.  I find this especially helpful, because I basically know what I like, but frequently find myself overwhelmed in the wine aisle.

I do know that with a Chardonnay, you want an hors d'oeuvre that is not going to be overpowering.  This brie, peach, and prosciutto crostini include flavors that are mild and will complement the oaky, buttery notes in this wine.

Plus, I always like an hors d'oeuvre that is simple and easy to put together.

If you're in the mood to taste a symphony, make sure to check out Notable Wines Chardonnay.
