Don't you love a beautiful dessert platter? It's almost funny how motivating they can be.
We had a wonderful family Valentine's dinner of steak and lobster. The kids ate everything on their plates since I had this Valentine's day dessert board on display in the middle of our table.
For Valentine's day, pink chocolate covered treats are a wonderful way to end the day. On this Valentines dessert board there are:
- pink chocolate covered strawberries
- chocolate truffle candy
- pink chocolate covered pretzels
- Valentine's Day Spree
- chocolate covered cherries
- red, pink, and purple M&Ms
- pink chocolate covered cookies
- heart shaped candy
For all of my pink chocolate covered treats I used pink candy melts and Valentine's day sprinkles. It's so easy to have a custom dessert platter this way with all of your dipped treats matching. Once you have the candy melts to a dipping consistency, dunk your treats into the pink chocolate and place onto a piece of parchment. Sprinkle the nonpareils before the candy hardens.
Whether you're celebrating a family Valentine's dinner or getting together for a Galentine's Day party, it's a great excuse to indulge your sweet tooth.
